Calvin Vander Boon, inventor of the Strike Assist, joins the show for Episode #219. Strike Assist allows the bait to get sucked towards the fish's mouth, allowing more fish to get and stay hooked. Fish use suction feeding to pull prey items into their mouth. When trolling, tension from the fishing line can prevent this from happening.
