Kristi Nelson, author of Wake Up Grateful and executive director of A Network for Grateful Living, thinks a lot about gratitude. To her, gratitude is about living a grateful way of life and cultivating a perspective of gratefulness that influences our entire approach to how we show up in life. With a ‘take nothing for granted’ commitment to living, Kristi invites us to explore what it means to treasure, savor, appreciate, cherish and celebrate our lives.

Kristi Nelson is author of Wake Up Grateful: The Transformative Practice of Taking Nothing for Granted and the Executive Director of A Network for Grateful Living. She has spent her adult life immersed in the rewarding work of non-profit leadership, fundraising, and organizational development. In a wide variety of roles, she has helped to lead, fund, and strengthen organizations committed to progressive social and spiritual change. Kristi received her BA from UMass/Amherst, a graduate certificate in Business and Sociology from Boston College, and her Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) with a concentration in Leadership Studies, from Harvard University.

Host Bio

Kristen Manieri is the author of Better Daily Mindfulness Habits (July 2021: Rockridge Press). She’s a certified both as a habits coach and mindfulness teacher. She specializes in: stress reduction, energy management, mindset, resilience, focus, habit formation, rest rituals, and prioritizing personal well-being. As the host of the weekly 60 Mindful Minutes podcast, an Apple top 100 social science podcast, Kristen has interviewed over 120 authors and thought leaders about what it means to live a more conscious, connected, intentional AND joyful life.
