New York Times best-selling author and veterinary surgeon, Dr. Nick Trout, talked with me about his recently released book, Ever By My Side: A Memoir in Eight Pets. We discussed each of the eight pets featured in his book and how they have helped shape him into the person he is today. He also shared how this book is different than the others that he has written about veterinary medicine, the lessons that he’s learned from each of the pets and what prompted him to write this book.
