No one leaves the woods. Caila is no exception. Buried alive and left for dead, she finds salvation in Locke: the young man who rescues her from her coffin. When a devastating storm leaves her stranded, Locke offers shelter at his family's home. Despite their kindness, Caila counts the days until she can leave the cursed land behind. But the woods do not release prey easily. As Caila's disobedience spawns ghastly consequences, she must obey the woods' commands or face the wrath of the bloodthirsty entity that followed her home.
