Societal beauty standards, beauty biases, and attractiveness- combined together, these factors could create an opportunity for the pretty privilege. While the term “pretty privilege” has been a thing for awhile, the significance of it and how it’s affecting society hasn’t come up until now thanks to TikTok users. We’ve heard of brain versus brawn, but what about beauty?
