Parents engaged in high conflict for whatever reason seem to think there's a prize for the winner at the end of a trial. There isn't. There is no prize. In fact, everyone loses in a trial more or less to some degree. Children are the ones who lose the most. Unfortunately, warring parents often view being awarded as the sole decision-maker for their children as some kind of brass ring or trophy.
