Biting and Punching moves don't make SENSE!
Manage episode 366871165 series 3464665
Hi guys!
This is another rant episode where I give my thoughts and opinions on something that's bugged me for YEARS! When I was playing Pokémon Sun back in 2016ish I got a Totodile from wonder trade. This was a really good IV one and I kept it so I could use in the Battle Tree. I realized that it learn both Ice Punch and Ice Fang, and in my mind I thought that Ice Fang would deal more damage than its punching counterpart. But boy was I wrong.
After that little discovery I made a post about my thoughts on this on a Reddit page r/stunfisk during Theorymon Thursdays where I talked about how some animals can have a much stronger bite than a human has a punch in terms of force. Me, being the nerdy person that I was, did research and found how much force can be generated by a human punch compared to animal bites in Newtons.
Anyways, in conclusion, I'm not happy about how the game devs made biting moves weaker than punching moves. Also, there's not many biting moves, but there's more than double the amount of punching moves? What's up with that?
