In today’s episode I talk about how thanks to Jesus Christ and His death on the Cross, we have been reconciled with God. By the action of the Holy Spirit, the Church is given the power to forgive sins (2 Cor 5:18-19). It is through Baptism and the Sacrament of Penance, that our sins are forgiven, and our relationship with God restored. God is willing to forgive any amount of sins, and as grave as they may be, provided we have true repentance. Don’t let sin control your life, instead, let the grace of Christ make you truly free!

- Scriptural quotes on the power to forgive sins given to the Catholic Church: Mk 16:15-16; Jn 20:22-23; 2 Cor 5:18.

- The topics we discussed can be found mostly in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, numbers 976-987, particularly, number 982.

- The chapter of the Life of St. Joan of Arc (by Mark Twain) where the story of “The finding of The Dwarf” is related is here: 33TUhttps://www.gutenberg.org/files/2874/2874-h/2874-h.htm#link2HCH0024U33T
