The Philadelphia 76ers dropped Paul George’s debut in heartbreaking fashion, falling to the Phoenix Suns 118-116! The Sixers led by 9 points with under 5 minutes to play, but couldn’t hold on!

Kevin Durant did hit thing, capping off a 35 points night with the game winning layup with :24 second left on the clock and the Sixers never recovered.

Despite the loss, George looked like a guy who needed to get a game under his belt. He was held scoreless in the 1st quarter, but then dropped 10 of his 15 points in the 2nd quarter.

Tyrese Maxey scored a game high 32 points. Maxey and Guerschon Yabusele combined for 11 made threes, while Yabusele netted a career high 19 points.
