Chris Mandel, President and Managing Consultant of Excellence in Risk Management LLC, explains Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) in Risk Management. Chris defines ESG and how it’s grown from sustainable development and now evolved to initiatives driving corporations and spheres of societies’ behaviors. Additionally, he discusses why ESG matters for risk professionals, why it’s invaluable they are included in the conversation and how it’s a component in practicing a comprehensive risk strategy. Chris also shares the four reasons ESG is related or should be related to Enterprise Risk Management.
