On today’s show, I’m speaking with Sumedha. I met Sumedha back in 2010 in university, where we were classmates and studied economics together. As the title for the show suggests, after a few years in finance, Sumedha decided to pursue her curiosity and end up in the world of data science. She tells me about her time in the world of finance, what sparked her interest in data science, how she taught herself before getting a formal education, and why it’s important that one takes risks in life. But we start off today’s conversation with what she thinks of New York and her most vivid memories of her time in college
