In the first part of the interview, Justin & Steiner discuss the beginnings of Justin's career, how he wound up in Seattle at the right time, and from whence come the origins of "Visual Feast", his upcoming already-iconic career retrospective book.

Justin Hampton is a renowned artist known for powerful and resonant artwork since 1990. He emerged as a freelance illustrator in Seattle under Art Chantry's direction at The Rocket, a pivotal magazine during the Grunge era. With bold line work, sublime colors, and a vivid imagination, Hampton's unmistakable style has gained international attention. His work appears globally in galleries, clubs, and homes. Notably, he is featured in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for the documentary "American Artifact" and in Seattle's MoPOP. Hampton has designed posters for Queens of the Stone Age, Metallica, NIN, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, and more. His art has also appeared in TV shows and films. Hampton's diverse clientele includes Rolling Stone, Lollapalooza, Dreamworks, and others. He is also acclaimed for his comic books and animated short film.
His artwork has also made appearances in television shows and films, including "24" and "The Hot Chick," and was featured in the TBS sitcom "My Boys," where his work was exhibited in a fictional Chicago exhibition. Director Todd Phillips even commissioned Hampton to design a poster for the cast and crew of his record-breaking rated R comedy film, "The Hangover." Throughout his career, Hampton has collaborated with a wide range of clients, including Rolling Stone, Guitar World, Lollapalooza, and Dreamworks, among many others. In addition to his visual art, Hampton's comic books "Twitch" and "Rat" have received acclaim, and his animated short film "The Jaded Monk" was showcased at the Seattle International Film Festival and the One Reel Festival in 2002 and 2003, respectively. Currently residing in Portland, Hampton continues to captivate audiences worldwide
