We know this week's episode is a little late folks, but we think it's well worth the wait. We've been fans of the Working People podcast ever since we started the show, so it was a big honor this week to sit down and have a conversation with Maximillian Alvarez. While it isn't the most upbeat topic, we decided to talk about the causes and purposeful expansion of child labor within the United States, as well as the ongoing use of modern slavery in US prisons. These issues, heavy as they are, allow us to examine the state of US capitalism and the impact of these repressive practices on the entire US labor movement and the broader global working class.
