047 The Power of Play to Light You Up

In this episode we’re exploring the power of play to light us up. It’s the beginning of November. The clocks have gone back and the nights are well and truly drawing in and I know that I’m not alone in being tempted to withdraw and hibernate as the weather worsens and the light retreats. But while I know that rest is important and I’m all for a bit of hygge, I also know that I still need to seek daily joy and things that energise and light me up if I want to feel like the best version of myself. The version of myself that has the energy and confidence to grow, thrive and enjoy life.

- What it means to let go and have fun and play
- The different play personalities and how play looks different to each of us
- The importance of making time for play
Have a think about what things are playful to you. Make time to play for being playful and remember that it's okay if the things that are fun and playful to you aren't to everyone else. Get to know yourself on what you enjoy. Encourage those around you to play and have fun to in whatever way is playful for them. See it as part of your self care, giving yourself the time to be playful.
