His Lab at the University of Washington, is best known for its work with water, but it’s interests are diverse–including energy, health, and fundamental physics. In his award winning book, The Fourth Phase of Water, Dr. Pollack lays a simple foundation for understanding how changes in water's structure underlie most energetic transitions on earth, and possibilities it creates for the fields of medicine, energy, agriculture, and many others.
Dr. Pollack is founding Editor-in-Chief of the research journal WATER and Director of the Institute for Venture Science. He received the 1st Emoto Peace Prize and is a recipient of the University of Washington's highest honor, the Annual Faculty Lecturer Award.
