In the mist of the trouble caused by Simeon and Levi, Israel is concerned about the people around him in the land coming against him and his house. While Israel was in Bethel, YeHoVaH appeared and reaffirmed to Israel his name change. YeHoVaH begins to speak to Israel about his future and shared the plans He had for Israel and his posterity.
