In this episode, we talk about why we invite a moving beyond the word forgiveness itself. Lael shares about what she learnt about this concept from her Mum whilst growing up. We talk about the natural process of coming to compassion for others through welcoming all of our feelings. We explain how we can understand why someone did something yet still be unwilling to put up with being treated in harsh ways again. We share about having compassion for our parents and others who hurt us and seeing how much they were affected by the time and culture they grew up in whilst also unconditionally loving our younger parts and all of their feelings.
