• [5:41] To Allie Danziger, a mentor can be anyone higher or lower than you in a company, regardless of experience or age. A mentor is someone who can and will spend time on the relationship and be transparent. They should also know something you don’t know that you would like to know, and they can’t be focused on their own ego.
• [8:00] Over the years, Allie’s mentors have been her parents, a boss, friends, and employees. She’s learned many different life and career skills from all of them. It is essential to her that you have an open mind and growth mindset so you can take in and learn from those around you.

Ampersand trains young professionals and those new to the professional landscape with all of the “behind-the-scenes” knowledge about being effective in a workplace. They also help managers better retain their talent by sharing information and data on the interns they hire from her so they can better manage and encourage them.
