Uh oh we have another one! Sandro Tonali has been banned for 10 months for breaching betting rules. The 23-year old will not be eligible to play again until August and will be unavailable to feature at Euro 2024 next summer should Italy qualify.

Liverpool retained bragging rights in the Merseyside Derby, beating ten-men Everton 2-0. Man City returned to winning ways with a narrow 2-1 win against Brighton at the Etihad. Ange Postecoglu makes Premier League history by picking up the highest number of points in a club's first opening nine games with 23 points and Spurs continue to thrive under the Australian.
