Habit 65: Always Have A Goal with Dr. Lisa Doggett
Manage episode 442919383 series 3467089
This week on The Habit Hub for Autoimmune Health™, I am joined by a very special guest, Dr. Lisa Doggett.
I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Doggett IRL, then spending hours and hours with her, in my ear, as she read her book “Up The Down Escalator” to me while I was walking, driving, and even cooking in the kitchen.
I can’t wait for you to hear us cover…
- Dr. Doggett’s story of motherhood, medicine, and multiple sclerosis
- her memoir, including her unique perspective and the (many, many) takeaways and aha moments I had while reading it
- our shared love of all things mindset and healing, including how finding peace in uncertainty can feel hard at times, but is SO possible and worth it
- all things self-care and how to get more of it in your life
- of course we cover habits – how they can be the answer to reducing the stress that comes with a diagnosis and lead us to creating health
- Dr. Doggett’s habits she swears by to keep her feeling good, including a round of my “habit rapidfire.” A few that rise to the top…
Always having a goal to work towards
Asking for help
Choosing thoughts with intention
Doing what you love
Cultivating hope
And so much more.
