So, as promised last week, we're back with Bobby from Dungeon Entertainment to talk all things Video Nasties, what obscenity charges are about, what the Classification Trials in the UK were about, the timeline that this all happened in, the movies that got called out in these lists, the different tiers of the lists, and the completely arbitrary nature of the what made the lists, which is unsurprisingly parallel to how the MPA rates and doesn't rate films. Bobby give some great suggestions of stuff to check out if you're feeling nasty (get it?!) and helps explain the value of these movies in the discussion of censorship and film history.
