Joe started investing almost 3 years ago. His focus was on the Hamilton area doing BRRRR projects. He’s more recently shifted to Sudbury. Most of his investment happened during the pandemic and he’s seen amazing appreciation. It really helped him scale and grow but as we discussed, we always have to plan for the worst if a downturn was to happen. Joe is hedging his investments by focusing on high cash flow. He’s self-managing to increase cash flow to protect his properties. There are still opportunities in hot markets such as Hamilton. Joe now has partners to help him invest and grow into the multifamily properties. Joe works with family members and he’s been quite successful at doing so.
