I am Reading Regimental Histories written by the soldiers who fought in the American Civil War. Relive the tales they weave on their marches across Antietam, Gettysburg and more! Our Current Regimental History, is that of the legendary 155th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Regiment. Later known as Pearon's Zouaves. From Antietam, Gettysburg and Appomattox, they always seem to arrive and witness some of the Civil Wars most critical moments.

Leander Stillwell was an 18-year-old Illinois farm boy, living with his family in a log cabin, when the U.S. Civil War broke out.
