×Peter was a fearless preacher of the Word of God. The result of his Christ centred preaching, brought him into conflict with the enemies of the truth, but the Lord gave His servant a holy boldness to preach the whole council of God.
The Lord Jesus is wonderful in so many ways, but those who heard Him preach He was wonderful in all that He said.
When entering the temple, Peter fixed his eyes on a lame man who was there. He told the lame man to look to Christ and be healed.
Peter was filled with the Holy Ghost, and as he preached, a revival broke out, and three thousand souls were saved.
The Apostle Peter spoke about two men, one of whom would be chosen to take the place of Judas Iscariot. Those two are not mentioned anywhere else in Scripture.
The dear Lord Jesus is always ready and willing to give the backslider a second chance to serve Him, as He did to Peter.
After the Lord's resurrection, Peter decided to go back to fishing. The Lord appeared by sea, but Peter did not recognize him, He was a stranger to him
Simon Peter on three occasions denied ever knowing the Saviour. He suffered a fall into sin, but the Lord was merciful and gave him hope of restoration.
When the Lord revealed to Simon Peter the plans Satan had for him, the Lord told him, "But I have prayer for thee." Christ is our praying Saviour.
Throughout His public ministry, the Saviour showed His humility in many ways. The night He bowed to wash the feet of His disciples was another example of His humility.
When the Lord Jesus came into world, as God manifest in flesh, He did so as a poor man. That poverty was seen when tribute money had to be paid.
When the Lord led Peter and two other disciples up into a mountain to pray, it was a prayer meeting at which the saw Christ in His glory.
After declaring that Christ is the Son of the living God, Peter then rebukes the Saviour. The Lord then uttered a sharp rebuke to His disciple.
The Lord rebuked His disciple Peter for trying to prevent the Saviour from going to to the cross.
When the Saviour challenged His disciples with regard to His Deity, Peter spoke up immediately and declared that he believed Christ to be God.
