Coming this 4/20, a group of ex-alcoholic and ex?-drug addict friends stumble their way through a dark mystery of drunken eldritch proportions. "Off the Wagon!" is a "chaotic good" mix of Cheech & Chong, the Big Lebowski, and the H.P. Lovecraft-influenced Call of Cthulhu roleplaying horror game, where we make bad decisions with good intentions. Our group of hapless investigators is called to task by their long-time friend and Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor, Amos Vaughn. He tells them of the lost and buried cold case of a trio of young girls in the small forgotten town of Leavitt, Utah, urging them to set right what he wasn't able to. This leads them to unravel a thread that will take them across the world on a Harlem-Globetrotting mission, where they'll risk life and limb to get to the bottom of the mystery before time and their sanity run dry. Drinks will be served. Dark Old Ones may be summoned. ** This story, the events, and all characters are entirely fictional and it is meant for adults. No babies, please. **

×All is decidedly *un-well* in Leavitt as our group of investigator-friends discover more and less than they had hoped for at the Manwill compound. Strangely, the recording of their meeting with Manwill is lost or was never captured. John Woo-Tang attempts to recall the harrowing details from that encounter. As our investigators retreat to lick their wounds and review the evidence and clues they've discovered, tantalizing threads are presented to them. What exactly is going on and where will they decide to go from here? MUSIC FROM THIS EPISODE... The die has been cast. Having been tipped off and supported by Sariah Leavitt, our hapless but well-meaning group of investigator-friends head in to raid the Manwill compound, hoping to rescue the most recent batch of abused girls. All is not as it seems however, as their discoveries will shock and surprise you. TRIP BUCKSWORTH: "In certain fight or flight situations..." MUSIC FROM THIS EPISODE... Now with a copy of the diary in their hands, our investigators retreat to pore through the material. Beleaguered cop John Woo-tang's pursuit of the black Camry license plate reveals an unexpected connection. But what does the Faceless Man have to do with multinational tech conglomerate CLOKR? Making a desperate visit to Tom Poe, Stacie and Shelly come clean and implore him for help. Poe finally opens up to them about the events of a long ago night which he thought had been left in the past. Importantly, the group decides to visit Sariah with their findings. A new little investigator, Sarah, who happens to know a few secrets herself, joins the group for a brief stint. At the Young house, Truck Buckman manages to draw a sympathetic Suzy Petrovic out of the house while Stacie Lawson runs in to search the place (or did she walk?). While Trip Bucksworth and John Woo-Tang continue to sadly strike out wherever they go, they do find new purchase in the role as the group's Advanced Team. Stacie Lawson heads over to Dr. Stacey Billings place (yea, it's confusing) and strikes up the sparks, leading to unanticipated reveals. Her killer frosé recipe may have greased the wheels. Truck Buckman visits Milan Petrovic at the local Walmart and talks to an incredulous but understanding Milan about his daughter Suzy's involvement in the blackmail of Levi Manwill. What a country! Exploring new team pairings, Stacie Lawson & John Woo-Tang head over to Dr. Lee's office to see if they can uncover any information on the three girls and the baby. With many possible (and possibly ruinous) approaches available to them, they somehow manage to avoid disaster and win the doctor's trust. Getting to the dessert portion of their hours long meal, Trip and John continue cozying up to Annie at the diner. After some friendly reminders by the game keepers, our investigators learn of Dr. Lee who survives the late Doc Higbee. With some trepidation, John makes a surprising phone call to his superior officer. He's given three days to crack the case before the "s" hits the fan. Later, he follows up on the lead of the black Camry's license plate. Things get spicy at Bumpin' Donuts when Stacie gets a chance to meet Suzy Petrovic. As they hit it off and start to head somewhere more private, writer and fellow keeper Matt Y. inadvertently throws ice in the game, causing Stacie to lose her grip. Bye bye reality. John is down in the dumps after being released from jail, while Trip tries to cheese omelette his friend back to happy. Later they head over to Annie at the diner for second breakfast and second info dump. An unfortunate but informative visit to Dr. Stacey Billings at the local community college leads Stacie and Shelly to make an important connection between the professor and Suzy Petrovic. Approaching Tom Poe again at the diner, Truck lays his cards on the table, hoping to win the recalcitrant former sheriff over. After successfully pursuing a mysterious black Camry that had been following them earlier, Stacie realizes it's been a rough day. Shelly drives them back to the hotel for some much needed R&R. Our investigators attempt to glean more information from the elusive Levi Manwill, as he beseeches them to find out who is blackmailing him. On the way back into town, a mysterious black Camry spooks our team. Like All Stars, they meet up with Sariah Leavitt. She warns them of Manwill's past and proclivities, while they open their kimono to show her a copy of Ardith's diary. SARIAH LEAVITT: ""Well, I know he never would have wanted this to come to my attention... Perhaps if we knew a little bit more, then I could make available to you the resources that you could need to take further action. But we would need to have something more concrete against Mr. Manwill. That's been very much the problem." As our investigators drive by the fortified Manwill compound on their way to Don Meachum's old cabin, they spot a vehicle overlooking the entrance. Do Stacie and Shelly regret meeting the CCAP kids Sophia, Hans and Meenu? Perhaps. Arriving at Meachum's cabin, the group grapple with ant hills and make a dark discovery. While driving back past the Manwill compound, they are surprised by an invitation. Manwill shows them a copy of a diary page. MUSIC FROM THIS EPISODE... Stacie and Shelly head to the local LDS temple in Leavitt, where they meet an amiable Bishop Talbot. Somewhat charmed by the ladies, he tells them of local history, the church, Manwill and the Appointed Brethren. Meanwhile at the diner, hands are played as Truck Buckman, the drifter, shoots his shot with Tom Poe and catches him off-guard. TOM POE: "That was a pretty good ploy.
