If anyone was my teacher, it was the wonderful authors who shared their hearts and souls with me through their stories. I laughed, cried, dreamed, and learned from the stories they shared. My first published story was in 1999 and was a short story in a book of stories about children and the crazy things they do. While it was just a couple of thousand words, I remember the excitement of being accepted into the world of authors. Today I work on stories that talk about the amazing power that children have and the mark they can make on the world. I hope to inspire children to feel into their truth and know that they can make a difference.
