They were able to do this without TV. How may you ask? Well, they did it through hard work, local newspaper coverage, and knowing their audience. They were able to grow their promotion and even take the weekly spot at the famed Johnson City, TN Rec. Center. Charlie and Kim were covered in the paper and even on the front page as the sports heroes of Carter County. We will explain everything we can by use of local newspaper archives.
