Hello! This evening we welcomed Jessica Anderson, running for the Virginia House of Delegates, District 71, to The Parlour and we chatted with her about her campaign and upcoming election. Virginia holds off year elections, and this year all State Delegate and Senate Seats are up for grabs.
Who is Jessica to US?
During the pandemic, one of the few people Lori and Lisa separately appreciated on social media, came together over and have been ardent fans of, is Jessica Anderson ("Mother Runner" on Tiktok). It was not unusual for us, in the wee hours of the morning to share with one another Jessica's posts on Tiktok, and often refer to her content during our podcasts. Her clear, reasonable voice on all the topics we follow amazed us as we all seems to be on similar wavelengths regarding the body politic.
Not only does Jessica's passion come through with her posts, but you get the distinct feeling she is definitely not going into politics for herself or the money. Her conviction for doing what is right and best for the people of Virginia's District 71, comes through in her willingness to connect with everyone including/especially those on the opposite side, and her common sense approach to everything from Second Amendment, Voting Rights, Reproduction Rights, Social Justice issues, and so much more!!!
We are so lucky, and grateful, to share this time with Jessica and we hope you will enjoy hearing from her as much as we did!
