Mitchell talks about how the initial relationships were formed through his father and grandfather ‘s time when they were in charge of the brand. Ariel asks about Marathon watches being involved also in the luxury industry as well as their other areas of focus such as the military. The two reflect on the design principles of the company as they talk about the importance of function for the watches that are so heavily depended upon as tools, but also why appearance is not something to just completely disregard either.
