MESSAGE: After Jesus ascended, the Apostles had to go back to the upper room in order to wait on the promised Holy Spirit. So, that begs the question, what does waiting on the Lord mean? And what does it look like? Waiting on the Lord is a confident trust that God will fulfill His promise and that He has a purpose in the waiting. It looks like what the Apostles did during this time: they assembled, they prayed, and they prepared.
