This week Pastor Travis is continuing with the series on Pressing into Vision Pt. 2.
Why is Vision Important?
Vision provides you with something to anticipate and work towards. It provides a
reason to keep pushing on in what you’re doing, even if things get difficult.
A vision provides an end goal or destination this creates a need to set goals to
define a clear pathway to the desired destination.
These are some of the key Scriptures from this week:
Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV)
2 Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. ( because he can see the finish line) 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
1 Kings 19:11-12 (NKJV)
11 Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; 12 and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire [a]a still small voice.1 Samuel 3:10 (NLT) 10 And the Lord came and called as before, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel replied, “Speak, your servant is listening.”
1 Samuel 3:10 (NLT)
10 And the Lord came and called as before, “Samuel! Samuel!”
And Samuel replied, “Speak, your servant is listening.”
Read: 1 Kings 19:13-18, 1 Kings 19:19-21
Proverbs 29:18 (NKJV)
18 Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint;
But happy is he who keeps the law.
2 Kings 2:1-2 (NLT)
When the Lord was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah
and Elisha were traveling from Gilgal.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 NLT, 2 Kings 2:4 NLT, 2 Kings 2:3 NLT, 2 Kings 2:5-15 NLT, Hebrews 10:38-39 NKJV,
In our Faith journey we all pass through
