Kevin Ortner, with Renters Warehouse, is back on air with Abhi to discuss real estate investing for the long-term. Abhi brings up some recent statistics that are shocking — one in three Americans have nothing saved for retirement, and half of all Americans have less than $10,000 saved for retirement. Abhi and Kevin discuss ways for you to start saving. Hint: It has to do with real estate. They get into the differences between Millennials and Generation Z and the differences between their saving habits. The Generation Z population has seen that Millennials are a little bit more frivolous with their spending habits and they have felt more compelled to save their money. Are you betting on Social Security to help you out in retirement? Abhi and Kevin have a good conversation on what that will look like for the next generations. Regardless of what that might look like for each person, they both agree that it can’t be the only resource that carries you into retirement, and there needs to be a financial plan in place. Real Estate investing is definitely a tool that you can start using now to plan for your retirement! Tune in now to hear more from Abhi and Kevin and be sure to find out how you can start saving for retirement by visiting RentersWarehouse.com
