For three decades, we've all become accustomed to search engines attempting to answer our questions by displaying a list of links to documents, including web pages. There have been changes, to be sure, but those changes have been more evolutionary than revolutionary.
Yesterday, Ken Shafer of Job Hub Central shared on LinkedIn some of the first images of Google's new, search engine results pages (SERPs) in the wild. Google has shared mock-ups of these but it appears that, suddenly, they're now rolling out to enough users that job boards, recruitment marketplaces, and all other organizations and individuals are going to experience more revolution than evolution.
In today's breaking news episode, Ken will break down not just the changes we're starting to see and which will soon be commonplace, but the significance of those changes to our industry.
