These are the visions that Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. He saw these visions during the years when Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah were kings of Judah. Isaiah 1:1 NLT
Even an ox knows its owner, and a donkey recognizes its master’s care, but Israel doesn’t know its master. My people don’t recognize my care for them.” Oh, what a sinful nation they are, loaded down with a burden of guilt. Isaiah 1:3-4 NLT
People who don’t recognize God as God are in for a lot of lostness and a heavy burden of guilt.
In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Isaiah 6:1 ESV
In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne!
Kings, Kingdoms, Prime ministers and presidents will come and go but God will still be on the throne!
When all the puny philosophers and detractors are gone, God will still be on the throne!
Attending him were mighty seraphim, each having six wings. With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew. They were calling out to each other, “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of Heaven’s Armies! The whole earth is filled with his glory!” Their voices shook the Temple to its foundations, and the entire building was filled with smoke. Isaiah 6:2-4 NLT

Then I said, “It’s all over! I am doomed, for I am a sinful man. I have filthy lips, and I live among a people with filthy lips. Yet I have seen the King, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.” Isaiah 6:5 NLT
The mirror of His majesty always reveals areas in our lives that need to be renewed and that’s a good thing!
Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.” Isaiah 6:6-7 ESV
Atonement’s price was high and graciously paid by the one to whom it was owed!
Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.” Isaiah 6:8 NLT
Would you be willing to be an Isaiah and live sent to your world?
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Matthew 5;14-15 ESV
The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is upon me, for the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. Isaiah 61:1 NLT
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14 ESV
