Olivia Eastwood-Gray's life so far has been closely intertwined with sports! She started playing netball at the age of 11, by 15 she was in trials for a semi-pro youth team, and later on went on to be a part of England's U-19 development squad. She continued her journey in netball playing at the university level winning 2 BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport) championships. Outside of netball, she is pursuing a Master's degree in Sports Business & Leadership at Loughborough University in London. She also works as a brand and project manager at BADU Sports, a community based organisation focusing on providing opportunities to young people through the use of sport. This week on All About Sports, we speak with Olivia on the sport of Netball - some of the common misconceptions with the sport, where in the UK and the world is the sport prevalent, what the professional netball scene looks like and the typical career path for players to get to the highest level.
