In this episode of Always Searching with Dr. Saralyn Mark, we speak with Dr. Susan Sokolowski, the first female product designer for Nike and one of the top designers in the galaxy. Dr. Sokolowski shares how her experiences as a young soccer player inspired her to create designs that fit the female body. She has worked for the Department of Defense, created space suits for NASA and even displayed her products in the Design Museum in London.
This episode sheds light on how she is able to achieve her goals in the product design world as well as inspire a new generation of designers at the University of Oregon. She embodies Nike's motto ‘Just Do it.’
