Meet Huw Joseph... He was born in the UK and grew up in Melbourne, Australia. He’s returned to his roots and has been based permanently in London since October 2014. He is a multitalented performer who currently hosts, panels and co-produces 2 weekly live shows on one of the UK's premier independent digital stations Fubar Radio, which has a reach of 500k + unique listens per week and is home to some huge UK talent including Noel Clarke and Rizzle Kicks. Huw’s shows – Tuesdays 4-6pm with Doc Brown (Star of Ricky Gervais Life On The Road movie) and Fridays 2-4pm with Mikill Pane (Rapper/Presenter) Before relocating permanently to London Huw was a commercial breakfast radio host for Australia's largest media network for 4years (Southern Cross Austereo) achieving national media coverage, which earned him a nomination for ‘Best Newcomer On Air’ at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards. His background as a talented musician and comedian have added a unique touch to his shows as he writes, produces and performs all of his own sketches and songs. With 7 years experience on air, driving studios, audio production and producing shows, he is a true radio professional in every essence. He is an aficionado with connecting to the 18-35 year old demographic. Currently a staple of the Fubar Radio network for nearly 2 & 1/2 years his acting and writing skills have also paved the way with his videos for Fubar garnering well over 2 million views. *He is also a comedy writer/performer/presenter for London based media juggernaut The Hook Online, which has over 6 million followers* With a list of celebrity interviews including Def Leppard, James Bay, Dawn French, Mark Ronson, Geri Halliwell, Noel Fielding and Ross Noble to name a few you can be assured Huw is comfortable chatting to literally anyone and will get the best out of them... mostly... except for a hilarious encounter with Tom Jones (listen to his show-reel). He has also covered multiple events and Festivals for Fubar including Field Days, Love Box, Creamfields, Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef Awards, Pride of Sports Awards and also the closing party in 2016 of the most highly regarded club in the world, Space Ibiza. His Comedy Rock band has seen him tour across Australia and the UK with 2 successful runs at the Melbourne Comedy Festival and Ed Fringe plus over 300 live shows. He's also a professional club DJ with over 10years experience being a regular on the Aus/UK circuit... Music and comedy is Huw’s life passion, making radio his dream career.
