Former Atlanta Braves pitcher Tom House, now the throwing coach for Drew Brees and Tom Brady, joins Bats Left Throws Right on this Super Bowl Sunday episode. Coach Tom was drafted with the 48th overall pick in the 1967 MLB Draft by Atlanta, making other stops with the Boston Red Sox and Seattle Mariners during his professional baseball career. After his playing days concluded, he worked as a pitching coach for the Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, San Diego Padres, and USC Trojans. Coined a "professor of throwing," Coach Tom's teachings have aided Hall of Famers like Nolan Ryan and Randy Johnson, as well as numerous All-Pro NFL quarterbacks. Join us as Coach Tom shares stories about his time in MLB, his friend and teammate Hank Aaron, and his soon to be released throwing mechanics app Mustard.
