In 2010, The High Desert Food & Farm Alliance was formed with the mission to support a healthy and thriving food and farm network in Central Oregon through education, collaboration, and inclusivity. Twelve years later, the HDFFA continues to evolve its many core programs which focus on improving affordable, nutritious, and easily accessible and sustainably produced food for Central Oregon. On Episode 18, Agriculture Support Manager, Annie Nichols and Local owner/operator of Sun Life Farm and Ranch, Jeff Fox join me to discuss the history of HDFFA, some of its many programs, the current state and future of Central Oregon farm and ranching, water rights and much, much more.
