Scott opens the show talking about the Rangers winning their series against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Callers weigh in on the refereeing in the Rangers-Penguins series and how it affected both teams. Scott says that anyone can always find something to complain about with everything after a caller complained about Igor Shesterkin's play in Games 3 and 4. Gerard Gallant spoke on the upcoming series against the Carolina Hurricanes. Scott talks about analytics and the Mets. The Mets don't have the greatest stats when it comes to hitting the ball hard. So, are the Mets just getting lucky? Scott believes the Mets pitching is carrying the team so far and thinks the bats need to wake up a bit more. Will Hill, host of NY Citycast, joins Scott. With Scott, Will discusses the Rangers series comeback against the Penguins and the play of the Mets and Yankees. Scott previews the Conference Finals in the NBA. The Heat are still winning games, even without Kyle Lowry, and the Celtics handled the 76ers well. Who wins? Scott thinks it will be the Heat. Out west, the Mavericks stomped the Suns on the road in Game 7 and the Warriors took care of business against the Grizzlies. Out of the two, Scott likes the Warriors. Meanwhile, Patrick Beverley took some shots at Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns during Get Up this morning. Many feel they were unwarranted, especially since Beverley is an inferior player to Chris Paul. Scott breaks down the Jets and Giants schedules for the upcoming season. The Jets may have it rough by having to face the AFC North, while the Giants may have been blessed by the NFL scheduling gods for some relatively easy games.
