We want others to pay for the hurt they’ve caused us. We want others to be punished for their mistreatment of us. We’ve been hurt, so when given the chance, we aim to make them pay for their wrong doing. Of course, here there is the added dimension that the secret admirer didn’t internally possess something that a Superhero possessed. But he certainly had the drive to change that.
As we get into today’s episode, we’re picking things up to see what happens after Paul and Silas just dropped the bomb on the chief authorities in Philippi. They are Roman Citizens, and they’ve been woefully mistreated. What do they do about it? Let’s listen in and with that, let’s get started.
