In this episode of the podcast, the Bruthas talk about R. Kelly's blockbuster interview with Gayle King. Sean makes a shocking confession about his initial take on R. Kelly's meltdown and the Bruthas give their predictions about the final outcome of the criminal case against "the King of R&B" (sorry, Jacquees). The Bruthas also discuss the HBO documentary on Michael Jackson documentary and how the revelations therein affect their respective Jackson Five musical collections. They also discuss the very strange defense of Trump's racism at the Michael Cohen hearing (i.e., "Trump can't be racist. Look at this black woman, here! She works for him and everything." And finally, the Bruthas give a roundup on this year's Oscars, including their takes on Best Picture Winner -- The White Chauffeur (oops, The Green Book). Sean makes another shocking confession that just might cause him to lose some melanin (it's a good thing that light skin is still in style). Jesse makes his case for Black Panther and both Bruthas have a loving critique for Spike Lee's acceptance speech (congratulations on the victory, our brutha). This is a LONG episode but well worth the time, if for no other reason than to hear Jesse SING this week's intro. Enjoy!
