#5 Mini games
- There are mini games you can play that you find by hunting down rabbits.
- My favorite of the six I played was toy box shuffle which was to find yoshi and those gambling games where you put a ball under cups and the guy moves them around and you try to find the one with the ball in it.
#4 Exclusive character usage:
- You have to get all four characters (allegedly) to beat the game. Have to get 80 stars.
- Each character has their own level to find them and unlock them.
- Original levels were recreated to fit the character.
- Wario uses Flower Power to turn into metal and can walk in the water.
#3 More playable characters:
- You start out as Yoshi and can get Mario, Luigi and Wario
- Each have their own special abilities
- Yoshi can use his tongue and has a long jump
- Luigi can jump really high
- Mario can kick
- Wario is slow but can break specialized bricks throughout the game.
#2 More text:
- You actually are given hints on how to do things.
- In the original it generally did not tell you what to do and was more obscure.
#1 Graphical Overhaul:
- The game was remade so characters can look surprisingly different.
- Bowser looks very different. He looks more like how we view him today while his head is much more bulbous in the original.
- The mustaches are better
