Today I have the absolute pleasure of speaking with fellow podcaster Marketing Consultant and Director of Abbas Marketing, Ayo Abbas.

Ayo is an award-winning marketing consultant who specializes in working with built environment firms delivering strategic marketing content and campaigns. She was recently named and took the overall title of Digital Woman of the Year 2022 at the Digital Women Awards. She has 21 years of experience working across the construction sector for major firms including Arup, Mace, and Ramboll.

Since founding her own consultancy Abbas Marketing in February 2020, Ayo has worked with a host of construction, proptech, and consultancy firms including 5 of the top 10 engineering firms as listed in Building Magazine's Top Consultants list. She has a particular interest in working with firms that are driving forward innovation and sustainability-led projects.

Ayo is a fellow of the RSA and a non-executive director for the Make An Impact Community Interest Company. She also hosts her own podcast The Built Environment Marketing Show.

Ayo has a business studies degree with a marketing specialism from the University of Hertfordshire and a postgraduate diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
