Carlsbad: People, Purpose and Impact

Stephanie founded SSA Insurance Services in June 2013 with a passion and goal of elevating the benefits experience for employers and their team members. She brings over 20 years of experience in the industry to her clients, including starting and growing the benefits division of a financial planning firm for 10 years prior to starting her own firm. Stephanie served on the board of directors for her local insurance association and is currently vice chair for the San Diego Employer’s Association, an HR organization providing HR support to businesses in San Diego County. In addition, she sits on the board of directors for the Carlsbad Educational Foundation, a nonprofit organization that contributes to the enrichment of nearly 11,000 students in the Carlsbad Unified School District. With degrees in Economics and Sociology from UC San Diego, and many credentials in the health insurance industry, she brings a passion for learning and education to the table, which come across in her consultative approach in working with employers on their benefits strategy. Her free time is spent playing beach volleyball at sunrise, playing sports with her 2 boys, or making memories traveling as a family to unique spots all over the world.
