12. Where is My Mind Part II with Mark Gober
Manage episode 286608747 series 2840724
Amanda speaks with Mark Gober for the second part of their interview where they discuss his research on Near-Death Experiences and The Life Review. The Life Review is something that many have experienced when they die for a brief period, allowing them to see their entire life in a panoramic review, experiencing what it feels like to be the other person on the receiving end of their actions. The Life Review propels Amanda and Mark to further discuss the question of "what are we really doing here? What is our purpose while on this earth?" They dive into consciousness, altruism, enlightenment, shedding layers that no longer serve you, and the gift of serving others.
Mark is a Princeton grad and former Wall Street Banker who was drawn into researching consciousness and the metaphysical. He is the author of Upside Down Thinking and Upside Down Living, and the creator of Where is My Mind Podcast, which consists of 8 episodes where he interviews scientists, doctors, and thought leaders on the revolutionary hypothesis: What if consciousness comes from outside the body?
