Anthony Devito! One of our favorite storytellers, a man who has been featured on This American Life, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert & Comedy Central, and who — more on topic for us — made future NFL players laugh at the University of Miami before bailing on his architecture major to do this for a career. How’d he end up in Miami? He literally crunched the numbers and it seemed like — statistically –you could get laid there.

We kick off the show talking about our favorite crazy open mic comics from the New York scene, and how fun it is to see them after you’ve already written them off as dead, and telling stories about the weirdest people we’ve ever seen take a mic on stage.

But the “college stories”? They’re great too! Anthony talks about going to THE U in Miami, what the culture was like down there, finding a long-term girlfriend immediately, working his ass off as an architecture major, and making future a future NFLPA president crack up. He also got accidentally knocked out on a basketball court by a football player. Check it out.
