Born in an electric storm in Northern California, Lerner grew up amongst the offspring of San Francisco’s 1960’s artistic and social visionaries, and creates content reflecting her roots. In 2014, Lerner created and sold her first animated series, Astrid Strudelman: The Unicorn Whisperer, to Dreamworks TV.
