Ricky Brabec made moves to extend his overall lead today on stage nine of the 2024 Dakar Rally as his HRC Monster Energy Honda teammate Adrien Van Beveren took the stage win with a commanding performance opening the stage after catching both Benavides brothers early on the course.

Ross Branch on his Hero lost time today in the battle, now sitting more than seven minutes behind Brabec in the general classification standings overall. Van Beveren moved into podium contention in third overall after today's stage.

We hear from Brabec and Van Beveren and Branch and check in with Jane Daniels and Kyle McCoy. Two more big days to go and tomorrow will be one to watch for strategy as we head into what could be a very decisive stage 11 after that.
