An odd title I grant you and why have I written The Sound of your family tree and the bricks which hold onto them.

When talking to Andrew Rumsey the Bishop of Ramsey we explored the families and the communities which were, and are an integral part of England and how from simple necessity they grew together. Some grew into towns, some into cities and some disappeared.

All of them had a church, a place of worship, a place of togetherness and today they should still be a place with a roof to sit under where we can join your community in unity.

How we do this, is where the conversation starts, and it should start with the community and the communities needs.

And we should remember as Andrew and I discussed there is church with a bell from 1490 which has rung out across the countryside for nearly 500 years. Generations of families, generations of bell ringers have heard the bell, for various reasons as way to communicate and within the stones which hold the bell up, the stones which sit on the foundations of the first stones placed into the ground by a member of the community who saw a future where families could grow together.
